REGISTRATION for Sept 2025 – June 2026
Families currently in our care: February 18th – March 3rd
New families looking to join Moss Rock Preschool: On April 1st at 9am, a Registration Request form will appear here.
The form will ask for: Your child’s name & date of birth, email, phone number and what type of care you are looking for. You will be able to enter multiple children on the same form.
We have very limited spaces available, and expect high demand. The order we receive your request determines your placement on the list. You will receive an automatic email when you submit your request. If we are able to offer you a space, we will contact you to complete a registration package.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Moss Rock Preschool is part of the $10 A Day ChildCareBC Program
Ages: 2.5 – 5 (3 years old by December 31st of their registered year)
Hours: 9:00am -1:00pm, Monday- Friday, (September – June) *closed on Sir James Douglas closure days
Ratio: 18 children, 1 Early Childhood Educator & 1 Early Childhood Education Assistant
Fees: $7/day ~ fees are calculated based on days of care per month
- 2 days/week: Tuesday & Thursday
- 3 days/week: Monday, Wednesday & Friday
- 5 days/week: Monday-Friday
Children must be able to toilet independently.
Eligible families may apply for government subsidy.
PHILOSOPHY & STAFF
Join us in our licensed child-guided Preschool taught by our superb Early Childhood Educators. Our goal at Moss Rock Preschool is to provide educational opportunities of exploration in a vast number of areas, such as nature, community, art and social interactions.
Our focus is heavy on exploration-based learning in a warm, diverse and nurturing environment. Our Educators pay close attention to the choices their preschoolers make and, with that, continue to create an evolving program that best suits the children’s individual needs.
