Holiday Hampers

Please consider donating to our Nourish your Neighbour Holiday Fundraiser to support families in-need in the Fairfield and Gonzales neighbourhoods. For many, the holiday season is a time of joy and happiness, yet for some families in our community the holidays can be an emotionally and financially challenging.

Funds raised will be used to purchase grocery and retail gift cards to ensure families in our community have an opportunity to celebrate this holiday season stress-free. Donations of $20 and over are eligible to receive a charitable tax receipt.

Donation Breakdown:

$100 will provide a grocery card for one person

$150 will provide a grocery & gift card for one person

$250 will provide a grocery and gift card for a senior couple

$600 will provide a grocery store gift card and gift cards for a family of four

FAQs 

Do you accept food/gift donations? 

For this campaign in particular, we are asking for monetary donations as we want to give our families as much autonomy as possible. We want to enable families to shop for what THEY want/need. Many of our families come from different cultural backgrounds, have dietary restrictions, and/or specific lifestyle needs. We want to make sure that every dollar we fundraise goes towards something they’ll get the best use of! 

If you have food donations, we will happily accept them to go towards our food programs! 

How many families do you help through this campaign? 

The number of families we can support depends on the amount of money we are able to fundraise! So, the more the better! We are currently prioritizing families with children and seniors, but if we fundraise enough, we will support anyone who needs our help (that’s the ideal situation)! 

How can I help? 

Donate & spread the word! Have family & friends that are looking to support a good cause this holiday season? Tell them about us! We are a non-profit organization supporting people right in your own community.

Unlike larger organizations, we have close relationships with the people we offer our support to! We will ensure that each family receives the support that suits them and their lifestyle needs, while being discreet and protecting their dignity.
